Step 1 - Education
 
  Understand the differences between regulation, certification and making your product "GREEN".  
   
 
 
  Step 2 - Technical Review  
  Compile product(s) specifications and create a environmental specific review.  
   
 
 
  Step 3 - Action Method  
  Decide if the process is cost effective and take action  
 
  • Compile budgets for additional certifications or testing
  • Compile projects where 'going green' will benefit the company (actual dollars or marketing)
  • Compare your company approach (examples)
  • List and evaluate the benefits to the company
  • Share your benefits with the industry (see manufacturer incentives)
  • Compile information for marketing to customers (Example - Blue Program)
  • Implement an Action Plan.
